The Murray Bridge Trainers Village is South Australia’s leading new thoroughbred training facility located alongside Murray Bridge Racing Club’s new world class racecourse.
The Murray Bridge Trainers Village precinct is located at the entrance to the new $35million Murray Bridge Racing Club facility in Gifford Hill, a semi-rural locale situated 9 kilometres from Murray Bridge and 3km from MBRC’s former racecourse on Maurice Road.
It will offer trainers state of the art training facilities alongside the newest and one of the best tracks in Australia and pose an opportunity to enhance the face of racing in South Australia.
The Murray Bridge Trainers Village will consist of up to 40 equine community title allotments of various orientations, ranging in size from 4902m2 to 16525m2. The flexible plan will allow trainers to join allotments together to create larger parcels to accommodate their training requirements.
The Trainers Village allotments have been purpose placed for premium access by horse walking trails to all of the clubs current and future training infrastructure.
The Murray Bridge Racing Club and Trainers Village development is a joint venture between highly experienced and respected South Australian developer Burke Urban, Murray Bridge Racing Club, Thoroughbred Racing South Australia and related investor partners the Hurley Hotel Group, Mark Ricciuto and the Wicks family.
